This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses and how you can control them. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On the next visit the browser sends it back, so the site can recognise the browser — for example to remember that you have already answered the cookie question. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way and are covered by this policy too.

2. How we ask for consent

When you open the website for the first time a banner appears at the bottom of the screen. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are used: no analytics script is loaded. If you press «Accept», analytics cookies are enabled; if you press «Decline», they stay switched off. Your choice is remembered for 12 months and you can change it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They are set by us and store no marketing data.

  • pl_cookie_consent — PurpleLabs, 12 months. Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies so the banner is not shown on every page.
  • development — PurpleLabs, 24 hours. Set only on a site under development, to let the team through the access screen.

4. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

These help us count visits, see which pages are read and find pages that do not work well. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

  • _ga, _ga_<ID> — Google Analytics, up to 2 years. Distinguish browsers and keep the session state.
  • _ym_uid, _ym_d — Yandex Metrica, up to 1 year. Anonymous visitor identifier and the date of the first visit.
  • _ym_isad — Yandex Metrica, up to 1 year. Detects whether an ad blocker is present.
  • _ym_visorc — Yandex Metrica, session. Used by the session-recording feature.

5. Third-party services

Our support chat widget stores technical identifiers in your browser so that a conversation continues where it stopped. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest lead to external services that set their own cookies once you open them — we have no control over those files.

6. How to manage cookies in the browser

Beyond the banner on this site, every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies in its settings, usually under «Privacy» or «Site data». Blocking all cookies may break parts of this or other websites.

7. Changes

When we add or remove a service that uses cookies, this page is updated. The date of the last change is shown above.
