This Privacy Policy explains how PurpleLabs («we», «us») collects, uses and protects personal data of visitors of this website. By using the website you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is PurpleLabs, a web development studio operating the websites purplelabs.eu and purplelabs.ru. For any question about this policy or about your personal data write to info@purplelabs.eu or use the form on the contacts page.
2. What data we collect
- Data you send us yourself. When you fill in a request form or write to us in the chat widget we receive your name, phone number, e-mail (if you provide it) and the text of your message.
- Technical data. Our server and analytics tools record the IP address, browser and operating system, screen resolution, referring page, the pages you opened and the time of the visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored in your browser. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your request — processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To measure audience and improve the website — only with your consent given through the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Analytics and third-party services
With your consent we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) and Yandex Metrica (Yandex) to understand how the website is used. These services receive technical data, including a truncated IP address and an anonymous visitor identifier, and set their own cookies. We also use an on-site chat widget so you can reach us directly, and our pages link to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest — opening those links takes you to services with their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep the data
Messages sent through the forms are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and to document our business relationship, and no longer than three years after the last contact. Server logs are kept up to 12 months. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the corresponding service, usually up to 26 months.
6. Who else sees the data
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Data may be handled by our hosting provider, e-mail provider and the analytics services listed above, all acting on our instructions, and may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw that consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

8. Security
The website works over HTTPS, access to the administration area is restricted and protected by passwords, and data is stored on servers of providers that maintain appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
9. Children
The website is addressed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data of children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page; the date of the last change is shown above.
