Redesign of a travel company's design. A very complex and delicate piece of work on creating a colourful and convenient design and functionality.

321.by is the website of a travel company that helps people plan holidays and find trips that are both interesting and good value. A travel portal has to combine two things that do not naturally go together: inspiration and precise search. People come to dream about the sea, mountains and foreign cities, but they also come with a budget, a date and a number of travellers, and they want to see offers that fit these conditions without scrolling through everything else.

The project was a redesign of the company's existing website, and it turned out to be a very complex and delicate piece of work. We had to create a colourful and convenient design and functionality for a site that already had its own users and its own logic. A redesign of a working portal is harder than a design from scratch: everything that people already rely on - searching for tours, browsing destinations, contacting a manager - has to keep working and become easier, while the look of the site changes completely. The colourful style reflects the mood of travel, bright and full of impressions, but the functional part of the redesign was meant to keep the search for trips at the centre, so that a visitor can move from a beautiful picture of a destination to concrete offers in a few steps.

The search phrases the portal was built for - travel, tourism, travel company, website about travel, tour search, good value tours, holidays abroad, interesting trips - mix exactly these two motives, the dream and the practical search, and the new design was made to serve both.
