In the same way a companion can find a car and get to the right place more cheaply. The main thing in the design, as requested, is simplicity and convenience. We embodied all the client's wishes in a unique design and site engine. The result is a really solid website that is convenient and looks great.

The idea of 555km.by is old and simple: a driver who has free seats in the car shares the cost of the trip with passengers going the same way. For the driver this means cheaper fuel and company on a long road, for the passenger a faster and often cheaper journey than by bus or train. A service of this kind works only when both sides find each other easily, so the whole site is built around search - by the starting point, the destination and the date.

Because the site connects strangers, trust matters as much as convenience. A passenger wants to know who is driving and when exactly the car leaves; a driver wants to know who will sit in the car. The design gives each trip a clear card with the route, the time and the number of seats, so that a decision can be made quickly and without misunderstandings.

We built both the design and the engine of the site, so the logic of publishing and finding trips was made exactly for this task rather than adapted from a generic template.
