Babyworld.by is a website for mothers that collects the most topical, important and interesting information from the life of babies and their parents: how to care for a newborn, how to raise children, what to expect at each stage of development and how other parents handle everyday situations. Its readers are mostly young mothers, often reading in short pauses between feeding, walks and sleep, and they need answers that are easy to find and pleasant to read.

We created a new bright and beautiful design for the site, and its main theme is cartoons and babies. The cartoon style gives the site a warm, playful character that immediately signals what it is about - the world of small children - and sets it apart from dry medical reference sites. Bright colours and friendly illustrations create a mood of joy and care, which is exactly what parents want to feel when they read about their child, even when the article answers a worrying question.

Behind the playful surface, the site works as a blog for parents, so its structure had to keep a growing number of articles easy to navigate by topic: care, health, development, upbringing.
