A wide range of components and accessories for laptops

Type of work: Online shop with laptop accessories

Design of an original website selling components and accessories for laptops.  The client wanted the site logo to be a fox. A simple yet elegant design, very convenient for users and pleasing to the eye.

Lapfox is an online shop of components and accessories for laptops: keyboards, batteries, mice, bags and many other parts and add-ons. Its range covers two quite different needs. Some customers come because something has broken and must be replaced - a battery or a keyboard - and they search precisely by model. Others want to make everyday work with a laptop more comfortable - a better mouse, a protective bag - and they browse and compare. The shop had to work well for both kinds of visit.

We designed an original website for the shop. The client wanted the logo of the site to be a fox, which plays on the shop's name and gives it a friendly, memorable character in a category that is usually dry and technical. The rest of the design follows the same balance: simple yet elegant, very convenient for users and pleasing to the eye. Simplicity here means a clear catalog structure - components separated from accessories, each group divided into understandable sections - and a layout that does not distract from the products. Elegance means that even a shop of spare parts can look neat and pleasant, which makes it feel more reliable to a buyer who is about to spend money.

The search phrases the shop was built for - laptops, laptop components, laptop accessories, laptop keyboard, mouse, laptop battery, laptop bags - reflect both the repair-driven and the comfort-driven purchases, and the structure of the catalog follows them closely.
