Type of work: design of a website with medicine reviews

We created a decent design for a website that collects medicine reviews. The main task was to depict nature with a doctor against its background. This symbolises the natural source of medicines.

The site collects detailed descriptions and reviews of medicines and drugs: their properties, the cases in which they are used and the ways they are taken. People come to such a resource at sensitive moments - when a doctor has prescribed something unfamiliar, when they want to understand the instructions in a package, or when they compare a medicine with its alternatives and look at its cost. In these moments a visitor needs calm and clarity, not advertising noise, and the design had to create exactly that atmosphere.

The central visual idea of the project was set by the client: to depict nature with a doctor against its background. This image carries a simple message - many medicines have a natural origin, and medicine works together with nature rather than against it. It also softens the subject: instead of the cold look of a pharmacy counter, the visitor sees greenery and a figure that suggests professional care. Below the header the structure had to stay practical, because the main value of the site is its catalog of drug descriptions, and a person looking for a specific medicine wants to reach its card in a few steps and read the information without distractions.

The search phrases the site was designed for - medicines, drugs, drug descriptions, medicine reviews, drug catalogue, buy a medicine, cost of medicines - show that visitors come both to learn and to prepare for a purchase. A trustworthy, natural design supports both intentions and makes the site a place people return to whenever a new prescription raises questions.
