We complemented and emphasised the design of a company that protects websites against various DDos attacks. A beautiful site logo was developed and the menu was improved.

DDOS Protection is a company that protects websites against DDoS attacks and other external attacks. A DDoS attack floods a website with so much traffic that real visitors can no longer reach it, and for an online store, a payment service or a news site even a short outage means lost money and lost trust. Clients of such a company usually come either after an attack has already hit them or because they fear one, so they need to understand quickly what the protection does and how fast it can be put in place.

This project was not a design from scratch but a refinement of the company's existing design. We complemented and emphasised the visual style the company already had, rather than replacing it - for an established business this is often the wiser path, because customers already recognise its look. Within this work we developed a new, more expressive logo for the site and improved the menu. The logo gives a security company a stronger and more memorable identity, and a clearer menu helps a worried visitor find the information they need without delay: what kinds of attacks are covered, how the protection is connected, what it costs and how to get in touch.

The search phrases the site works with - website protection, protecting a site against attacks, site protection software, DDoS attacks, protection against DDoS attacks - describe exactly that moment of concern. A recognisable logo and a menu that leads straight to answers help the company turn this concern into a request for protection.
