SpectrumSat - internet provider services, satellite television

Type of work: Design and layout of an internet provider website

We developed the design as well as the website itself for an internet and satellite television provider. The site has a standard structure and a homely design.

SpectrumSat provides two kinds of services at home: internet access and satellite television, including its installation. Both are things people usually think about only when they move house, when the old provider disappoints them or when they buy a country house without a cable connection. At that moment they search for a provider, compare a few options and choose quickly, so the website of a provider has to make three things obvious: what services are offered, where they are available and how to get connected.

We developed the design and built the website itself. The structure is deliberately standard - the services, the conditions and prices, the connection process, help and contacts - because people who visit a provider's site are not looking for surprises. They expect to find information in the usual places, and a familiar structure lets them do it without effort. The design, on the other hand, was made homely and warm. Internet and television are services for the home, for family evenings and everyday life, and a friendly visual style suits them better than the cold technical look that many providers choose.

The search phrases the site was built for - internet, get internet, internet provider, internet provider services, satellite television, install satellite TV - show a visitor at the moment of decision. A clear standard structure combined with a pleasant design helps such a visitor understand the offer quickly and leave a request rather than continue the search on another site.
