Quality and modern tables, chairs, sofas, wardrobes and other furniture

Type of work: Website redesign

Development of a new website design - interesting, clear and concise.

tov.by is an online furniture shop that sells modern and affordable furniture: tables, chairs, sofas, wardrobes and other pieces for the home. Furniture is one of the hardest things to buy online. A buyer cannot sit on a sofa or open a wardrobe door through a screen, so they rely on photographs, dimensions and descriptions much more than in most other categories, and they hesitate longer before ordering something large and expensive that has to fit into a real room.

The project was a redesign: the shop already existed, and we developed a new design for it that would be interesting, clear and concise. The goal was to let the furniture itself be the main thing on the page. A calm layout with plenty of space gives room to large product photos, the main categories - tables, chairs, sofas, wardrobes - are visible at once, and the information a furniture buyer checks before ordering, such as size, materials and colour, has a fixed and predictable place on every product page. When a design is consistent, a buyer quickly learns where to look and spends their attention on choosing rather than on searching.

The search phrases the shop works with - online furniture shop, furniture in Minsk, buy a sofa, buy a table, chairs and tables in Minsk, buy furniture in Minsk - show that the audience is local and ready to buy. A clear redesign helps turn that readiness into an order instead of a long comparison across many other furniture sites.
